Yes, and we check it. There's a field in the form where you write how their name sounds — "Bao rhymes with cow" — and we listen for it before the film is made. Pet names are unusual more often than not, and getting it wrong is the one mistake we won't send out.

A celebration is for a birthday, a gotcha day, or a new arrival, and it's written in the present. Everything you receive is the same either way. You pick the one that fits when you start.
